Born in Miyazaki, Japan, Sky Brown’s list of accomplishments in skateboarding tell a story of talent, resiliency, and balance. Competing at a high level since she was single digits, drive is part of her DNA. Pulling from her journey and heritage for her first Nike SB colorway, the Sky Brown SB Zoom Pogo Plus mixes Japanese iconography and artistry with personal details that illustrate her story.
Incorporating the fiercely independent and powerful image of the female warrior on both the sockliner and inner tongue details, the contrasting themes of strength and beauty are represented throughout the Pogo Plus with bold artwork and hidden homages. Featuring a tumbled leather upper with suede accents and overlays, a secondary symbolic theme of cherry blossoms enhances the shoe’s signature details with in-bloom floral printed lateral Swooshes, patterned medial Swooshes, customized Kanji heel embroidery, and dual lace options.
