A proud artist and skateboarder born and raised in Northern Arizona’s Diné Bikéyah (Navajo Nation), Di’Orr Greenwood’s deep connection with her Diné (Navajo) tribe has become a voice and celebration of Indigenous heritage. Through Di’Orr’s understanding of color, symbolism, and mastery of traditional techniques, she’s energized skateboarding with her love and honor of the Diné's ancient craft, sparking an entire movement.
For her first collaboration with Nike SB, Di’Orr reworked two iconic SB silhouettes, transforming their minimalist Decon constructions with indigenous symbolism and adornments inspired by Diné (Navajo) culture. Blending reflective celestial details with vibrant pops of color and pattern, the design of Di’Orr’s Nike SB Dunk Hi Decon is inspired by the disciplined and soulful practice of farming, harvest, and growth. Rendered in tonal leather and suede grayscale, her SB Blazer Mid Decon design draws from the Moccasins Di’Orr often skate, boasting a unique leather lace cover with stitched details and flower emblem. Along with custom sock liner art, the Di’orr SB Blazer’s midsole is finished with a debossed mountain pattern and Diné (Navajo) heel logo.
