Although the first design in Parra's longstanding collaboration with Nike––the legendary 'Amsterdam' Air Max 1––debuted in 2005, working with Nike SB has been a long time coming.
Dutch artist Parra (1976) has his roots firmly planted in skateboarding and started skating around 1988. He was a sponsored amateur (distro flow) from the early 90s till the early 2000s. After those formative and slightly competitive years, he focused on art & design, taking all the memories and heavy influences from skateboarding’s golden era with him on his journey.
With the new Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low OG and Blazer GT, Parra brings his signature style of hyper-saturated colors and whimsical humor to Nike SB shoes for the first time.
