Sandy Bodecker’s career with Nike was defined by vision, innovation, and challenging possibility. That spirit translated further than soles, it was the soul of Nike SB from the beginning. The Sandy ZoomX Bruin is an homage to his belief that skateboarding should be heralded across the spectrum of sport and its elite would one day compete in the Olympics.
It’s 2021 and that drive has coalesced in a ZoomX Bruin that features a sublimated graphic that pulls from the iconic "Blue Sky Dreamer" painting by Mark Smith of Sandy that hangs in The Bodecker Foundation space in Portland, Oregon.
