Black-owned, Queer led, and proudly unwavering, in 2019, a group of non-traditional skaters in Chicago adopted the FroSkate moniker to give the city’s BIPOC community their shine. Since then, the collective expanded to include the larger LGBTQ+ pushing for change.
The modus operandi? Be bold. The FroSkate Dunk taps into the vivid diversity of their squad and a definitive graphic design identity to create a colorful Dunk for non-conformists. As individual as the crew itself, FroSkate chose a separate and bold color pattern for each shoe in the pair, adding three colorful lace options, a translucent sole with patterned underprint, custom art insole, and a mid-panel debossed “All Love” message.
The SB Dunk High by froSkate is available August 13 in select skate shops and August 17 in SNKRS.
