Back in 1996, a shop across the Charles River bridged Boston’s appetite for streetwear, skateboarding, and subculture. Drawing from a local culinary staple, the original Concepts Dunk Low Pro wrapped all the buttery details of New England’s beloved comfort food into the city’s most sought-after shoe.
Since then, the Concepts lobster game has netted blue, purple, and green versions, all served up with the classic rubber band and seafood shanty tablecloth details. The latest Concepts Dunk Low Pro gives the most common crustacean colorway a homage, with speckled orange overlays, a patterned insole and inner tongue, and three lace options to whet your appetite.
