Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem, the Baltimore-based brothers who make up Carpet Co, bring their DIY vibe to the Carpet Dunk High. Combining their Egyptian heritage with their handmade, B-more roots, the Carpet Boys crafted a double-layer, tear-away Dunk with a nod to cyanotype-style screenprinting on the top layer and paint-splattered gold underneath.
Printed blue mesh overlays tear away as the shoe gets skated to reveal the yellow leather underneath, surrounded by supple white leather. A stitched Carpet Co. star logo at the heel, fez-headed sockliner design and custom tongue label and heel let everybody know this could only have been brought by the habibis at Carpet Co.
The Carpet Co. Dunk High will be available at local Skateshops starting February 26th and in the SNKRS app starting on March 2nd.
