For his second Dunk colorway, Yuto chose colors and materials that remind him of the rich history and ritual of his favorite drink.
From the careful grind to the perfect pour, Yuto’s SB Dunk Low Pro evokes the patience and pride that goes into the fine art of matcha tea. Calling back to his first colorway, Yuto’s latest Dunk features a premium suede construction balanced with touches of bamboo fiber. Blending a rich asparagus green with organic brown hues, the Yuto Matcha Dunk canonizes the process and patience of preparing matcha with bubble-detailed overlays, grinder eyelets, and lace aglets, as well as Yuto side-heel branding and custom sock liner artwork depicting the balance of old and new world Japanese culture.
