Nike SB x Sustainability

From plastic straws to big-screen TVs, landfills are filling up with trash. As people continue to try to find ways to make more sustainable products, they are starting to think about strategies to help eliminate waste and reuse everything from spent shoes to leather scraps instead of tossing them in the garbage.

At Nike SB we're all about the progression of skateboarding; through our team riders, our products, our partners and each other. We are excited about pushing the Move to Zero journey forward so we can help create a better future for skateboarding.

Re-Use A Shoe

What good are worn-out skate shoes piling up at home? When you donate them, we turn them into Nike Grind, a material that is used to transform community spaces – from basketball courts and playtop surfaces to running tracks and more. All brands are accepted. No boots, sandals, dress shoes, excess mud, metal, or cleats. Pretty much if you can skate it, we can recycle it.

Help power the next generation of skaters by donating your used shoes today.
